Alicia Jones was born in Michigan, but her roots are in New Orleans where she grew up with her one sister and nine brothers, one of which she donated a kidney to (don’t tell the others, she only has one left!).

After graduating from Dillard University in New Orleans with a degree in Psychology, Hurricane Katrina washed Alicia back up to Michigan where she fell in love with the sports bar industry. She started as a hostess at Buffalo Wild Wings and quickly climbed to ladder to the manager position, then a corporate trainer. After 13 years with the company, Alicia went on to work as a restaurant manager for both the JW Marriott and Amway Grand Plaza.

Because of her leadership roles in the hospitality industry, Alicia knows the value of concierge service in real estate. She is a problem solver and loves being part of helping clients figure out what they want all the way to turning the keys to their dream home. Her patience, dedication, and consideration go a long way with her clients in their home buying experience.

Alicia’s favorite part about Grand Rapids is the trees. She found a home with the expert help of Christian Huyge, surrounded by them. She lives there with her husband, two rescue dogs, and two rescue cats. When she isn’t helping out clients, you can find her writing poetry or listening to crime podcasts.
